"The Hammer"

The Hammer is a unique driver designed by 6 Time world long drive champion, Jack Hamm. It uses an inverted vortex design to reduce drag and increase club head speed by up to 25%. The Hammer also features a head with a 595 mm sweet spot (The World's Largest), made from a material known as Zolex which is lighter and stronger than titanium. Last but not least is their patented "Smart" shaft which automatically adjusts to every one's swing.

I was anxious to get my hands on one of these "Hammers". I had purchased a video when I first started playing golf, called "Hit It Long" by Jack Hamm. When I saw that it was the same guy from the video that had designed the club, I just had to try it out. They claim it will add 50 yards to drives the first time you use it. We took it to the driving range a couple of times before we had it out on the course. The Hammer definitely felt good from a swing stand point and also had a nice solid sound when hit. It was hard to tell at the range how far those beat up old balls were going but we got used to the way the club felt. When we got it out on the course with brand new golf balls we saw some pretty long drives. It was supposed to be long but what surprised me was that it was pretty accurate as well. How much distance it will add to any one golfer's drives will depend on how far you hit to begin with. I think the shorter you are off the tee the more this club will help you.
