| Checker Balls
We were fortunate to be able to try a wonderful new putting practice aid called Checker Balls. Basically it is a 3 ball set of slightly wider than average golf balls. It is like taking a normal golf ball and stretching it slightly out from the center. The 3 ball set includes a novice, an advanced, and a pro size. The novice being almost round and the pro being a lot more stretched out. Each one has a different colored line around the center to help you line up the direction of the putt. The concept is that the |

elongated ball will roll correctly only when struck perfectly. Any side spin will be amplified dramatically. The wider or more advanced the Checker Ball the greater the effect will be. It works with any putter and any putting style. Start with the novice ball, when you get good at that one you can move up to the advanced and then to the pro. You must remember that like any other good practice aid it must be used pretty regularly to be effective. You can get more info at www.checkerballs.com |
