Ridgewood Lakes is another one of the many courses located off US-27 and is only a couple of miles South of I-4. It is really easy to get to and well worth the ride. They are now managed by Meadowbrook Golf Group and are part of a Del Webb community. We play this course on a regular basis and like it very much. The Greens have just been renovated with "Champions Turf" and are in the best shape ever. They have a very friendly staff, which makes the overall experience worth coming back for.

One thing about Ridgewood Lakes as the name implies is that there is an abundance of water. Not a lot of forced carries but enough to make you pay attention to what you are doing. You better have your "A" game or you will lose some balls. My suggestion would be to play from the shorter tees the first time out so you can find out where the trouble is.

My favorite hole is number 2 a 564 yard par 5 with some island (barge) type tee boxes. Number 15 is a really nice par 3 with some water and wetlands on the left, this one is probably the signature hole.

We like Ridgewood Lakes and we recommend it to everyone. With out a doubt one of the more fun golf courses in the area.
